What do I believe in when I write the posts?
Here, I believe in bringing people closer to life inspiring themes about light and lighting, which will change the way one looks around oneself.
Every space we are in, unconsciously influences our well-being. If we create spaces which are inspiring, diverse, fun and involving we will keep people coming back to those spaces.
Why I became an architect? I was just fascinated with the architectural world, in which one can shape buildings and change the way people live, work and have fun. Why I became a lighting designer? Actually by accident… It just happened to be the only internship post in the students’ room. Funny enough, I fell in love with it, as in architecture, light is a subtle but decisive way of changing the spaces around us.
How I do that? This is not just another blog about lighting. We keep track of what is interesting and relevant in the world, filter it and make the most interesting posts for you to enjoy! If you find our posts interesting, please share them and give us your like. We are also curious to know what you think about the themes we are posting.
Who am I? My name is Paula Longato and I am leading the lighting team for BuroHappold in Berlin and Europe. We work on exciting projects from Museums to Work Spaces, Masterplans and Art Works and keep track of latest research, design and technology to serve our Clients with the best and most professional knowledge available.
